Ancient flying machines, alien beings, and giants. These are some of the things reported in the media by supposed American soldiers in the Afghanistan campaign. These stories tell of finds that are extraordinary and chilling.
The first legend being told is that the soldiers cornered something in a cave, a being that was at least 12-15 feet tall and cannibalistic. It came to be known as the Khandajar Giant. This giant was described as having a red beard and scarlet red hair.
A supposed witness of the event said that one soldier was skewered by the giant while they laid down fire. According to this soldier, the government did not divulge this encounter and he believed that it was because giants do not fit into the way we explain our world.
Another story tells of an ancient flying machine referred to in history as a Vimana. This is a thing of legends in Sanskrit and flown by otherworldly beings. It was said that US Military scientists came across one in a cave and eight soldiers went missing in the process.
The machine was reportedly in the cave for 5000 years and held great power. When trying to remove it, eight soldiers went missing.
Lastly, reports of giant human/bat-like creature has been reported in Vietnam and other locations, including Afghanistan where supposedly some soldiers going through very dark cave complexes and past booby traps and other dangers, came across something quite dangerous that they didn't expect - giant bat-like creatures.
SOURCE LINK: On January 25, 2002, United States Marine Forces in Afghanistan experienced sonar interference coming from a cave near Tora Bora, which screwed up their sonar cave-mapping system.
Believing it to be a jamming device built by the Taliban or Al-Queda, three U.S marines, corporals Sawyer and Wade, and sergeant Carlos Ramos, investigated the cave, using helmet cameras to record their mission, which was to find the source of the interference and destroy it.
As they ventured deeper into the cave, they discovered large amounts of bats and guano all over the cave.
Corporal Wade walked into a booby trap and fell into a lower section of the cave, breaking his back.
As he lies there, he spotted something flying past. The others found him and he seemed delirious, and muttered that what he saw looked "like a lady" (possibly a reference to how most batlike cryptids are known to have eerily feminine features).
It was reported the soldier went ahead and started shooting and screaming and they found him dead, along with another.
The video above is a dramatization.
It is intriguing that in these ancient caves there would be reports of encountering things from long ago, things even more dangerous than the terrorist threat being beaten down. It has to make one wonder about what is inside caves around the world where stored items, mummified bodies from history, ancient tablets, and perhaps "alien-like" beings might dwell.
Reptilians are often reported in caves, as are the remains of the ancient giants. Some say there are entrances to Hollow Earth and others say great treasures left by an advanced earlier culture of man.
The red-haired giants of Lovelock Cave have become one of the more amazing finds as they were a legend of the Paiutes tribe of cannibalistic giants with red hair all over who ate their people. The tribe says their ancestors drove the giants into a cave and filled the opening with sage and brush and burned them to death. It would have remained a legend, except in the early 1900s bat guano farmer went into a cave and removed tons of guano, but also the remains of red-haired giants and many relics.
Expect me to continue to cover caves regularly on the blog, as they are one part of the world easily accessed by man throughout history and yet so very little tapped by us today. In fact, the world's largest cave (that we know of) in Vietnam, Hang Son Doong, was only discovered in recent years -
